LPAR2RRD version 6.11 Linux agent 6.11-4 not registered and not visible from left menu

Hi,

I installed linux agent on server but it didn't correctly register and isn't visible from left menu-tree.
i did troubleshooting from both sides https://www.lpar2rrd.com/VMware-performance-monitoring-installation.htm?5.1 .
Everything looks fine even www->OS agent check displays it correctly - see picture
Is it possible to register agent manually one more time? or unregister and register again?

PS: Maybe the good idea will be creating new category for LPAR agent problems :-P

Hi,

is that Linux server running on VMware?

Then check VM under VMware, you should find there OS agent data in additional tabs of that VM

Yes, it is a vmware VM.
Very sorry i didn't realize both stats (vmware and agent) are accesible from the same one place. It makes sense :-)

Do you plan add device disk stats from agent using iostat?
In my opinion they are very usefull.

we monitoring just adapters level, no plan for disks.

Hi,

I am having the same issue but for a physical Linux system not a vm and a lpar. I can see the system under data/Linux but Linux is no showing up in my left panel.
