Graphics on Cisco Nexus Do Not Display Properly


Hello everyone,

We are monitoring 4 Cisco Nexus servers, its configuration was very simple, however, the graphics referring to the ports, either ethernet or SAN the graphics are displayed with a strange appearance.

An image is attached to the post to demonstrate.


Any suggestions for what might be going on and some way to fix it?

    are all ports affected or just some ports?

    Send us logs pls. 
    Note a short problem description in the text field of the upload form.

    cd /home/stor2rrd/stor2rrd # or where is your STOR2RRD working dir
    tar cvhf logs.tar logs tmp/*txt
    gzip -9 logs.tar

    Send us logs.tar.gz via https://upload.stor2rrd.com

    Answering your question, All graphs on all nexus switch ports are displayed this way.

    data collection from your switches takes too long. Especially from this switch DC2-N5K-A.
    Can you try the following steps? It should help.

    1. increase data collection timeout
    Just put line "export SAN_DATA_COLLECTION_TIMEOUT=900" to etc/.magic

    cd /home/lpar2rrd/stor2rrd
    echo "export SAN_DATA_COLLECTION_TIMEOUT=900" >>  etc/.magic

    2. re-schedule the crontab for SAN agent
    crontab -e
    
    Change this line:
    0,5,10,15,20,25,30,35,40,45,50,55 * * * * /home/lpar2rrd/stor2rrd/load_sanperf.sh >/home/lpar2rrd/stor2rrd/logs/load_sanperf.out 2>&1
    to:
    0,10,20,30,40,50 * * * * /home/lpar2rrd/stor2rrd/load_sanperf.sh >/home/lpar2rrd/stor2rrd/logs/load_sanperf.out 2>&1


    Let it work about 2-3 hours and let us know if that helped.
