Problem with Time (NTP crash)

Hello Team,

On the last week we had an NTP crash, my VM where i have the stor2rrd application got wrong time, all arrays too. Now from few arrays i can't collect data (SVC/V7K), from other arrays i can collect data (ds8k,xtremIO). Any idea how i can get data from SVC/V7K? Last good data i had from 14.04.2019, the bad data (wrong time) between 14-15.04.2019.

Now NTP working properrly but i still can't download data ;(

Hello Pavel,

I seen many files from SVC/V7K (stor2rrd/data) with the name contained "19990215-xx" so i was drop all files. I was drop all data from tmp, but nothing was change. At this moment last data from SVC/V7k i have from 14.04.2019 02:30.

I think the arrays was get wrong time from NTP, so stor2rrd was get io data but with wrong time. We have the same issue on the TPC...

What i was get from network team: "The NTP was get wrong time from the GPS, then the time on the NTP servers was change -20 years to 1999"

time from the past should not be a problem.

send us logs.

cd /home/stor2rrd/stor2rrd # or where is your STOR2RRD working dir
tar cvhf logs.tar logs tmp/*txt
gzip -9 logs.tar
