Installation

I had downloaded and ran the pre-built VMware image with no problem, but I was trying to build my own install of LLAP2RRD on Debian 8, but seem to be having some issue. I keep getting:

ERROR: ed command does not seem to be installed or in... (just shows my $PATH which is regular)

Can someone provide some insight to this?

you should follow installation procedure at http://www.lpar2rrd.com/install.htm - there is Debian section where you can find command to install ed and other dependencies:
apt-get install apache2 perl rrdtool librrdp-perl libxml-sax-perl libxml-simple-perl libtimedate-perl libenv-sanctify-perl libcgi-pm-perl ed bc
