Capacity - reporting and alerting

Hi,

we're evaluating stor2rrd and found the capacity overview very useful. We use the tool for performance monitoring as well as reporting. We've got a quite big and heterogeneous environment made of storages from different vendors, having a fast way to look at the spaces is a plus. Also, the detailed occupation of the pools is a plus.

Since we offer outsurcing services, in our day by day usage we feel the lack of the following features:

1) Alerting on capacity thresolds

2) Capacity graph for each pool

3) Reporting on capacity


Are these topis to be covered on a future roadmap?

2) Yes, sorry, I'll try to elaborate better: Some customers have dedicated pools, in this case a separate graph for each one will be the best.

3) Thank you. The reporter feature is good. We need to have a capacity reporting tool that runs every day and gave us a quick report of total/used/free space. Should it be possible to schedule the csv export of the capacity page?

3) there is a csv export on capacity dashboard in the GUI. You can script wget to get URL which calls that CSV icon

If you need more detailed or customized capacity or performance reports then we do custom reports for our customers.
