Configuration page main tab not updating

Hi
We moved one of the frames to a different HMC and its configuration view (LPAR list with EC and mem info) is not updated on the main tab. However on the individual HMC tab everything is displayed correctly.  Is there a way to "reset"  the main tab?

  • Hi,

is that about this page like on our demno?
    http://demo.lpar2rrd.com/?menu=7e49637&tab=3

  • yes, exactly.  The 'Servers' tab http://demo.lpar2rrd.com/?menu=7e49637&tab=0 is supposed to show a  combined view from all HMCs.

In your case it's empty.  here it shows outdated info from only one of four hmcs. The individual tab for that hmc is correct.

I found another post where you suggest to remove certain cfg fails under the old hmc directories.

if i try that, is there a way to force rebuild this page without waiting for the next cycle after midnight?

  • sorry for delay.
    This info:
    cd /home/lpar2rrd/lpar2rrd
    ls -l www/cfg_summary.html
ls -l www/<hmc name which does not work>

  • here is the info. sorry i removed some host names..

    -rw-r--r-x. 1 lpar2rrd lpar2rrd 48890 Feb 28 00:22 www/cfg_summary.html
    -bash-4.2$ ls -l www/<hmc which does not work/
    total 356

    drwxr-xr-x. 2 lpar2rrd lpar2rrd    108 Feb 16 12:52 <server2>
    -rw-r--r--. 1 lpar2rrd lpar2rrd 138022 Feb 27 14:41 gui-config-high.html
    -rw-r--r--. 1 lpar2rrd lpar2rrd  82599 Feb 27 14:41 gui-config-high-sum.html
    -rw-r--r--. 1 lpar2rrd lpar2rrd  82280 Feb 27 14:41 gui-config-high-sum.html-tmp
    -rw-r--r--. 1 lpar2rrd lpar2rrd  47424 Feb 27 14:41 <hmc which does not work>-lpar-config.csv
    -rw-r--r--. 1 lpar2rrd lpar2rrd    398 Feb 27 14:41 <hmc which does not work>-server-config.csv
  • strange, it is about this file which is being refreshed once a day cfg_summary.html and it is compiled from HMC detail pages.

Can you try this (although formating and styling will not be good)
    http://<your server>/lpar2rrd/cfg_summary.html

    is this wrong?
