SAN switch which have same name ( not on same fabric )

Hi Everyone 

   I have install and config stor2rrd for monitor Storage and SAN . Storage I no have any problem . But  for SAN I have problem about collect data because some SAN switch have same name then when I looking in web I will see only 1 switch . If I need to use IP instead switch name , possible ? If answer is yes . Please give me for instruction .

it will not work, the tool expects unique switch names
There is no simple fix from our side, question is if using same switch names is a good practise

I agree with you about same switch name is not good practice . Then I will convince my client to change switch name . Thank you very much.
