HPE Synergy when can add n LPAR2RRD OR STOR2RRD
I hope this message finds you well.
We are currently working on enhancing our monitoring capabilities, and we are interested in integrating our HPE Synergy environment into lpar2rrd and stor2rrd for more comprehensive monitoring and management.
Our HPE Synergy setup involves SNMP configurations, with one part residing on the system itself as a global monitor and another part within the interconnected switch infrastructure.
Could you please provide guidance on the following:
- When can we expect support for HPE Synergy integration in lpar2rrd and stor2rrd?
- What steps or configurations are necessary on our HPE Synergy system to enable this integration?
- Are there any specific requirements or considerations for the SNMP configurations on the interconnected switches?
Your expertise and assistance in this matter will be highly valuable as we plan to extend our monitoring capabilities to cover our HPE Synergy infrastructure

HPE Synergy is not supported by us. We do not expect its support anytime soon.
We implement support for new technologies if there is general user demand for that or if there is business behind, none of that is the case.
BTW HPE Synergy can use some of external storage devices (like 3PAR, Nimble ...) and SAN/LAN switches we already support. So you can monitor it partially even now.
Howdy, Stranger!
