STOR2RRD ALERT Configuration , mailing group is not working.
I have set stor2rrd for my IBM flash system V9k storage monitoring, I am trying to configure alerts but email is not receiving even though postfix is configured and running also there is nothing showing in queue of mail log. Hardware event logs are generating test email but without graphs. I am a beginner, detailed explanation or guidance will be helpful
thanks.

Hi,
- aletring is working I expect, you see records in UI --> settings icon --> alerting
- do you see any related records in /var/log/mailog ?
- send us your mail configuration via https://upload.stor2rrd.com , it is about this file: /home/stor2rrd/stor2rrd/etc/web_config/alert*

Hi,
there are 2 different possibilities in alerting.
- Performance statistics alerting
https://stor2rrd.com/alerting.php
Target email adresses are configured in "E-mail groups" tab.
Then you have to assign the right email group to each alerting rule.
- HW event alerting
https://stor2rrd.com/alerting-event.php
Target emails must be configured in "Options HW events" tab in the field called "E-mail targets".
If you want to have more email targets there, you can separate them by a space.

update: the email is now receiving we are receiving cpu utilization with graphs, thanks for the help
