Stor2rrd for Netbackup Not reporting stats

Hi Support,

First of all, thank you for this update. The insight that your software provides is brilliant. We have enjoyed using your products for many years now. 

We currently have a Netbackup setup running on Veritas Flex appliance which doesn't allow up to create new user accounts (its a limitation of flex). Because of this, we have chose to run the reporting using the root/appadmin account. 

All connection tests come back as fine. API Auth and data tests are fine too.

It would seem that the scripts do not run as intended however. In the first 24 hours we only had a total of 3 data points show up in our reporting (there should be at least 288 with a 5 minute interval).

When checking the logging we are getting the following messages:

In the load_netbackupperf.out:

NBMASTER1:  : starting

Continue now   : NBMASTER1: sample_rate : 300

Waiting for 12124172

/home/stor2rrd/stor2rrd/load_netbackupperf.sh[165]: test: argument expected

In the error log (error.log-NBMASTER1) we are getting the following message every time the job runs:

Use of uninitialized value in concatenation (.) or string at /home/stor2rrd/stor2rrd/bin/netbackupperf.pl line 376.

We are running Netbackup 8.3.0.1 on a pair of Veritas flex appliances.
This isn't a new stor2rrd setup, we have been using the program for 5 years now to show perf stats of HP3par, Storeonce and IBM SVC arrays. All of these work perfectly.

*edit* We are using Stor2rrd version 7.2.0-1

Apply script below:

1.
https://download.stor2rrd.com/patch/7.21-18-7-g5861/netbackupperf.pl.gz
Gunzip it and copy to /home/stor2rrd/stor2rrd/bin (755, stor2rrd owner)
-rw-r--r-- 1 stor2rrd stor2rrd 32052 Oct 11 09:12 netbackupperf.pl
If your web browser gunzips it automatically then just rename it: mv netbackupperf.pl.gz netbackupperf.pl
Assure that file size is the same as on above example

2. Wait 20 min and send us logs.

How to send logs:

cd /home/stor2rdd/stor2rdd # or where is your STOR2RRD working dir
tar cvhf logs.tar logs tmp/*txt
gzip -9 logs.tar
Send us logs.tar.gz via https://upload.stor2rrd.com
