error connecting vmware/vsphere

Hi there,

probably made a basic error, but can't make anything out of the error message. Server is AIX, want to connect a vsphere. Connection test is successful, authentication fails with:

API authorization: API authorization to zch-rzx-srv-100.ch.efgruppe.net has failed!

Probably some more data is needed?

Hi,

it is known issue, what is your lpar2rrd version, older than 6.15?

Then

1. Uprade lpar2rrd to the latest level 7.00
2. rm -r /home/lpar2rrd/lpar2rrd/vmware-lib
3. install VMware perl SDK 6.7 again, same as before

Like I said, something obvious. I would have held any bet we are already on 7.1
