Brocade 65x0 not showing CPU/MEM
Hi !
I have some Brocade 65x0 (FabricOS 8+) not showing CPU/MEM statistics.
Is it possible that Stor2RRD doesn't gather these statistics because the switches were in FabricOS < 7.4.2c when I added them in the config ? And thus Stor2RRD doesn't collect these stats even if the switches were upgraded ?
I can provide logs of course if needed
Thanks for you feedback !

Hi,
upgrade should not be a problem.
Can you try, if these switches provides CPU/MEM statistics we use?1. CPU:
snmpwalk -v 1 -c public <switch IP> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1588.2.1.1.1.26.1
2. MEM:
snmpwalk -v 1 -c public <switch IP> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1588.2.1.1.1.26.6swCpuUsage 1.3.6.1.4.1.1588.2.1.1.1.26.1 - The system's CPU usage.swMemUsage 1.3.6.1.4.1.1588.2.1.1.1.26.6 - The system's memory usage. -
Hi Karel,They don't provide these stats :
[stor2rrd@ypstor001s me]$ snmpwalk -v 3 -u snmpuser1 bexxxsw02-1.san.xxx.be 1.3.6.1.2.1.1.5
SNMPv2-MIB::sysName.0 = STRING: BEXXXSW02-1
[stor2rrd@ypstor001s me]$ snmpwalk -v 3 -u snmpuser1 bexxxsw02-1.san.xxx.be 1.3.6.1.4.1.1588.2.1.1.1.26.1
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.1588.2.1.1.1.26.1 = No Such Object available on this agent at this OID
[stor2rrd@ypstor001s me]$ snmpwalk -v 3 -u snmpuser1 bexxxsw02-1.san.xxx.be 1.3.6.1.4.1.1588.2.1.1.1.26.6
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.1588.2.1.1.1.26.6 = No Such Object available on this agent at this OID
But other 6510 do ... Is there anything to tweak ?

Hi,this is more question for Brocade support.Provide them above output ...

I managed to fix it by resetting (snmpconfig --default snmpv3) and reapplying the settings, now the snmpwalk command works fine and stor2rrd collects the datas
Howdy, Stranger!
