'Unmanaged' servers
Hi,
I have a number of physical x86 Linux servers running the agent, they are being displayed in the 'Unmanaged' menu item on the left. Is there any way I can currently 'manage' them? I would like to be able to search for them
I'm running the latest version.
Thanks,

Hi,
are they under some virtualization like Vmware, KVM/oVirt etc?

Hi Pavel,
Thanks for the reply and apologies for the delay.
They are not running in any virtualised environment, just a physical x86 server running running linux natively with agent running in the OS.
Thanks

Then they are for us "unmanaged". It works fine.
How else would you imagine? Pls explain.

Is it possible to order the unmanaged list into subgroups? is it possible to include unmanaged in the search results?
Thanks -
Unmanaged in search results implementation:
http://download.lpar2rrd.com/patch/lpar-search.pl.gz
Gunzip it and copy to /home/lpar2rrd/lpar2rrd/bin (755, lpar2rrd owner)
-rwxrwxr-x 1 lpar2rrd lpar2rrd 20794 Oct 17 18:21 bin/lpar-search.pl
If your web browser gunzips it automatically then just rename it: mv lpar-search.pl.gz lpar-search.pl
let us think about subrouping possibilities.

Many thanks Pavel!
