Is it possible to use an external postgreSQL database ?

Hello,

sure, you can.

Make sure the postgresql database is at least version 14(the newer the better)

and timescaledb extension is newer than 2.9.1. Most of our lab and what we provide are versions 2.14.2 and newer so that is what we recommend as of now.

note:The initial Xormon NG set up will require connection to a postgres instance and permission to create a new instance
