Missing Volumes and Drives on Synology

Hi,

I have inserted drive 3 a few days back and also created volume3 in an existing storage pool.

However they do not show up in the GUI. RRD files are being generated as far as I can see. Any ideas?

BTW: Many thanks for including support for Synology. It's highly appreciated :)

Comments

  • Hi,

can you check the UI tommorrow, after Ctrl-F5? Let us know if still nothing
  • I could have sworn I already did that ;)

Volume and drive is now showing up but I see the following issues:
    - Drives are not named as in the Synology UI, e.g. Drive 4 in stor2rrd shows the performance data of the newly added disk 3 (clearly visible as there is no I/O in the graph before I inserted it)
    - Drive3 is missing in the combined graphs and the drive numbers are also not correct there
    - Some external drives I had connected a long while ago are still listed in the table below

The same is true for the combined volume graphs. New Volume 3 is missing there.
  • Hello,

Send us current logs and IOSTATS files from affected storage

cd /home/stor2rrd/stor2rrd # or where is your STOR2RRD working dir

    tar cvhf logs.tar logs tmp/*txt data/njoerdr/IOSTATS/*

    gzip -9 logs.tar

    Send us logs.tar.gz via https://upload.stor2rrd.com

    Thank you

  • Hi Lukas,

    logs are uploaded. Thank you!
  • I removed and then added the storage with a new name which fixed it.
