Installation of security updates under OS hosting Stor2rrd

Hi,
Recent scan on Linux Centos servers hosting Stor2rrd in virtual appliance mode, has shown the need to apply several updates in both Centos 7 and Centos 7.9 as per policy.
Is there any limitation from application perspective to get them updated from OS level? Can we expect any impact on applying that upgrades?
In any case, VM snapshot will be taken before applying, but would to know in advance before to proceed any known issue to plan accordingly.

apply OS fixes as you need, it is not a problem at all, all will work.
