  • I don't think switches license can be the cause ... But if they are in access gateway mode, they won't appear in the same fabric as other switches ... Maybe copy/paste here the result of a fabricshow ?
  • Oops, same in 2.51 "Enterprise" :#
  • I understand, but maybe the detection of this kind of behavior could be improved. I only detected it because I noticed that the capacity of my pools were not up to date, but the date under the graphic was saying that it was refreshed recenlty. Of course I can find in logs that there is an authentication problem, but from…
  • Hi, It's broken again, see the file list : [stor2rrd@ypstor001s stor2rrd_BEMUTU]$ ll data/SPDVSP02B/IOSTATS/configuration/ total 1144 drwxr-xr-x 2 stor2rrd stor2rrd 4096 Mar 13 08:36 . drwxr-xr-x 30 stor2rrd stor2rrd 4096 Mar 4 18:44 .. -rw-r--r-- 1 stor2rrd stor2rrd 45332 Mar 3 23:45 config-HOST1.txt -rw-r--r-- 1 stor2rrd…
  • Hi, As Pavel said, always run the last version because it's always better :) In my case this was due to a network issue between stor2rrd instance and the datacenter in which switches were located, network team found the problem and everything came back to normal after that :) Good luck !
  • I managed to fix it by resetting (snmpconfig --default snmpv3) and reapplying the settings, now the snmpwalk command works fine and stor2rrd collects the datas :)
  • Hi, I recreated another user on all my HDS arrays, upgraded CCI to latest version (and also ExportTools as some arrays have been upgraded in the meanwhile). Also enabled snmp monitoring (new in 2.50), and so far, it works again ... Let's see with time if the user gets *blocked* again. Thanks for your suggestions.
  • Hi Lukas, Indeed there is a problem with these commands, I think it's a problem with the user I use ... When I tried to login with my "stor2rrd" user (created as specifier in www.stor2rrd.com/userfiles/file/Hitachi-arrays-setup.pdf), I had a timeout, note that it worked fine in the past ... I created another user in the…
  • Indeed, it seems that files are not very fresh : [stor2rrd@xxx stor2rrd_BEMUTU]$ ls -l data/xxx/IOSTATS/configuration/total 332 -rw-r--r-x 1 stor2rrd stor2rrd 10608 Dec 23 23:52 config-HOST1.txt -rw-r--r-- 1 stor2rrd stor2rrd 1728 Feb 27 11:48 config-HOST1.txt-tmp -rw-r--r-x 1 stor2rrd stor2rrd 60608 Dec 23 23:55…
  • Thanks Pavel, will it be implemented in next version ? Or is a fix to reapply each time ?
  • Hi Karel, They don't provide these stats :[stor2rrd@ypstor001s me]$ snmpwalk -v 3 -u snmpuser1 bexxxsw02-1.san.xxx.be 1.3.6.1.2.1.1.5 SNMPv2-MIB::sysName.0 = STRING: BEXXXSW02-1 [stor2rrd@ypstor001s me]$ snmpwalk -v 3 -u snmpuser1 bexxxsw02-1.san.xxx.be 1.3.6.1.4.1.1588.2.1.1.1.26.1…
  • Yes for all switches within the same location, others work fine ...
  • Only a few points : I'm pretty sure it's a network issue, but maybe stor2rrd could be more verbose when there are timeouts in the snmpwalk ?
  • I'll wait the new version, I'm not a fan of having "hand patched" versions running :)Thanks !
  • My bad, I'm using a "patched" main.js that I got from https://forum.xorux.com/discussion/comment/1729/ to add filtering issue ... The "official" 2.30 main.js is ok
  • It does it for IO rate and Data Rate for pools and mdisks. Anyway, not a big issue, thanks for your reply. Regards. Martin.
  • Hello, I also installed the beta main.js. The column sorting by Progress is acting strangely : It groups everything in 1 group (with 34 items in my screenshot), it could be nice to have multiple groups like "100%" and "<100%". In the Snapshot and Mirror TABs, a "Expand/Collapse All" function could also be very handy :)…
  • Hi Karel, Tested on multiple instances of stor2rrd, had thousands of _sanperf_ files before, then only a few after a few minutes, all graphs are now displayed correctly. The fix works like a charm ! Thank you very much !
  • I have more or less the same issue on my linux server. Disk was full, I added some space in the VG, but however, I have plenty of .tmp file in each subdir of the data dir, but the graphs are not showing anything ... Is there any way to clean up the mess ? I see a san_clean.sh but I think it just delete everything and…
  • It works now, thanks B)
  • Hi Pavel, I think I filled everything in the "Reporter" tabs and the configuration was saved : I created a report but when I tried to Save&Run : My stor2rrd instance is not located in the homedir of the stor2rrd user, can this be an issue ? Thanks.
  • While looking to this problem, I also noticed in reporter.error.log : Thu May 24 15:44:30 2018: /home/stor2rrd/stor2rrd/etc/web_config/reporter.json does not exists! Exiting... : No such file or directory Thu May 24 16:15:19 2018: /home/stor2rrd/stor2rrd/etc/web_config/reporter.json does not exists! Exiting... : No such…
  • I'll slap myself, you're correct ... Other browser is fine, and ctrl-f5 in first browser is fine too now :) Thanks again.
  • Clear, thanks for your answer Pavel :)
  • [apache@server stor2rrd_MUTU]$ date Mon Apr 9 12:50:28 CEST 2018 [apache@server stor2rrd_MUTU]$ ls -l data/SWITCH/unused_ports.txt -rw-r--r-- 1 apache apache 64 Mar 8 14:32 data/SWITCH/unused_ports.txt [apache@server stor2rrd_MUTU]$ cat data/SWITCH/unused_ports.txt port1 : noTransceiver : unknown port2 : noTransceiver :…
  • No, I mean that for some switches I see some MAPS messages, but not all the MAPS messages, and not for all my switches :
  • Hello Karel, Both ports are in (6) status : SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.1588.2.1.1.1.6.2.1.3.1 = INTEGER: 6 SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.1588.2.1.1.1.6.2.1.3.2 = INTEGER: 6 They are also "green" in the Health Status section / Ports tab.
  • Hi Pavel, Yes it does, then I suppose the MAPS messages I see in the Health Status TAB were sent or were polled via SNMP. I'll investigate why it's not the case for all my switches. Thanks.
