  • Good Day, No ... the free version where we are restricted to a single report. The report is configured and run from the WebUI. It has been working fine for many years but when we tried to implement ACL's briefly and it did not work so we rolled that back but it seems something remianed ? That is the issue. The original…
  • Good Day, Currently we use AD LDAP Authentication. There is an Admin Group and a User Group. I am in the Admin Group and when I login I can see everything. If I try and run a report the following happens : reporter START : Thu Oct 12 13:16:08 2023 load cfg : /home/lpar2rrd/lpar2rrd/etc/web_config/reporter.json product :…
  • Good Day, We did try implement the follwoing : ... but it voided our AD Group access so we unconfigured it. I am assuming since we implemebnted the above at a point it made changes that are not reversable when we unconfigured it ?
  • How to edit this file to grant admin access ? $ cat /home/lpar2rrd/lpar2rrd/etc/.web_config/users.json { "ACLimported" : false, "groups" : { "ReadOnly" : { "description" : "Member can see everything but nothing can change." }, "admins" : { "ACL" : { "lpars" : {}, "vms" : {}, "solo" : {}, "cgroups" : [ "*" ] },…
  • Good Day, I have found these files owned by xormon : # find /home/lpar2rrd/ -user xormon /home/lpar2rrd/lpar2rrd/etc/web_config/audit.log /home/lpar2rrd/lpar2rrd/etc/web_config/users-xormon.json Xormon Would not link to LPAR2RRD so we stopped / disabled it. For access to LPAR2RRD we have defined two AD Groups. One is an…
  • Good Day, Our current setup is that we have an Admin Group and a User Group. A request has been logged to give a user limited access to certain servers so we have to now accomodate for that. Pavel Recommended Xormon. I have it installed but to connect to the LDAP Server we need to provide credentials. No anonymous access.…
  • Good Day, Under the LDAP section for Xormon, I see no fields for username / password to connect to LDAP sources or am I missing something ? Regards
  • Morning, Unfortunately in our environment we are using the 'free' LPAR2RRD. Regards
  • Good Day, We had an issue where cron jobs failing due to an issue with the lpar2rrd account. So now we are missing some data for a few days and wanted to know if it is possible to have lpar2rrd to collect for the missing days. Regards
  • Good Day, Ok ... I use free edition so that would explain things. Regards
  • Good Day, I need to run reports for new servers added and cannot. My version as stated earlier is : 7.00-2 Under Linux section there are just all the physical servers and no object "Historical reports". I figured it was just never catered for since not in the Reporting section. Regards
  • Afternoon, Yes ... I have a VMWare section and a Linux section. Under the Linux section I have 19 servers. Should I have something in cron ? Regards
  • Good Day, Nothing there. I am on version : 7.00-2 Regards
  • Morning, Had to replace this : PERL5LIB=/home/lpar2rrd/lpar2rrd/bin:/usr/share/perl5/vendor_perl:/home/lpar2rrd/lpar2rrd/vmware-lib:/usr/share/perl5:/usr/lib64/perl5/vendor_perl:/home/lpar2rrd/lpar2rrd/lib With this :…
  • Morning, The one that has been requested from me is Consumed Memory of a VM ... in vCentre under Performance it is a check that can be enabled to show the consumed memory. It has an Internal Name of "consumed" in vCentre. Consumed Memory Seems to match up to the command "free -m" when logged into a Linux Server. Regards
  • Ok ... bit of a cheat. I used the build doc for the docker image to rebuild what it did in /home and recreated it in /data/lpar2rrd and mounted that in /home ... worked ... but not ideal.
  • Nope ... that is not working ... even trying the following : docker run -d -p 8080:80 -v /data/lpar2rrd/lpar2rrd:/home/lpar2rrd/lpar2rrd/data -v /data/lpar2rrd/stor2rrd:/home/lpar2rrd/stor2rrd/data xorux/apps Can I assume that when the container starts, files are extracted and installed within : /home/lpar2rrd Example…
  • Thanks ... I was going to go through normal installation docs to see what paths used.
