Thanks for the assistance Lukas. We disabled and re-enabled the SNMP and all worked nicely after that. Something went loopy with SNMP

I am running the config_check.sh now, took about 3-5 mins to come back and I am getting per data.

My version is 7.10

Thank you. I have submitted an upload with a description for G5K

The array is now showing up but even though it seems to be collecting some data, other graphs are not showing and new volumes being created are not pitching up. @Karel @Pavel Please let me know if you want me to upload logs or anyt further information

Upgraded and added with REST API, works like a charm. Thank you

Thank you. Will upgrade and test and let you know.

Also I am not sure if this model VSP 5500H fits into the VSP-G of VSP 5000 definition in stor2rrd. For completeness I have tried both but I get the same issue both times.

When I run from the CLI I get this error. Not sure what is the IPB

@Pavel @Karel @Lukas Any pointers where I am going wrong? I have tried a whole host of things but cannot seem to make any headway.

Works perfectly. Thank you

Done just for CL1*. The sample above is just for CL1-P but having the same problem on all of the CL*-P ports [stor2rrd@host PORT]$ ls -l /opt/stor2rrd/data/VSP-R700/PORT/|grep CL[0-9]-P-rw-r--r-x 1 stor2rrd stor2rrd 795608 Feb 28 13:29 CL1-P.rrd-rw-r--r-x 1 stor2rrd stor2rrd 795608 Feb 28 13:29 CL1-P.rri-rw-r--r-x 1…

ok, I have one last thing bugging me on the report. Telling me the port ID but in the config the port is there, the rrd files exists and the port is in use. Fri Feb 28 12:20:43 2020: ERROR stor2csv.pl: Fri Feb 28 12:20:43 2020: Could not find PORT ID for VSP-R700:PORT:CL1 in neither in etc/alias.cfg…

Not to worry, I managed to find the change made in the last script and implemented the same line for drr-sys and it works like a charms :)

@Pavel @Karel I think I have found the root of the issue I am experiencing. I noticed after a few initial runs that some port mappings were showing for the topology. When I traced these ports I discovered that I had not labelled (or mis-lablled the wrong port) those ports in alias.cfg. When I labelled them correctly in…

It fixed that error but now a new one :( Fri Feb 28 10:51:41 2020: ERROR stor2csv.pl: ERROR: No DS called 'drr-sys' in '/opt/stor2rrd/data/VSP-G1000/CPU-CORE/CHA-1PC.DRR-1PC0.rrd' at /opt/stor2rrd/bin/stor2csv.pl line 1839. : Fri Feb 28 10:51:41 2020: CSV was not created!…

Ports seem to be working fine now, thank you. There is also another error coming up now, this for CPU-CORE, didnt see this one before mixed in with all the PORTS errors Fri Feb 28 10:32:20 2020: ERROR stor2csv.pl: ERROR: No DS called 'mpb-sys' in '/opt/stor2rrd/data/VSP-G1000/CPU-CORE/CHA-1PC.DRR-1PC0.rrd' at…

Instructions followed, upload complete.

Sorry, I should have mentioned that it is for Cisco MDS switches and using SNMP so it should meet the requirements for this to work.
-
I have installed all the relevant packages, not getting any errors in any logs that I can see but all I get is this. I monitoring both Storage devices and the SAN switches.
-
I managed to get this working a while ago but when I had to rebuild my stor2rrd server I forgot how this worked and had to do it all over again. This is actually much more involved then the original post makes it out to be. I am using centos 7 so I can only comment on how it works on that distro. So here goes: Use this…

I am having the same problem with a LAN switch, my version is 2.61. Please advise if the patch in above post was for this version, if so please assist with a link to the patch.

Not sure where something has gone wrong. In the fresh test VM once I apply the fixes provided everything works fine. However in the current PROD setup which ahs been upgraded all the way from 2.50 up to the latest, the scripts run, given over two hours of sanperf.sh, first load.sh runs but it doesnt generate all the files…

I am busy testing and will post results once I have some conclusions. Just as an aside I noticed something else related to this. When adding a SAN switch, if I run ./bin/config_check.sh <SAN Switch Alias name> nothing happens but if I run ./bin/config_check.sh <SAN Switch IP> then it runs fine. For storage and LAN, this…

I have also tried running the load_sanperf.sh and load.sh manually but nothing happens
-
I have put in the new script, kind of works on the cmd line if I take out the '' from around the pass in the GUI but then the GUI check fails.

Upload has been done. I have setup a new VM with Centos 7 and stor2rrd2.61 but still the same problem.
Howdy, Stranger!
