I guess there is a problem if lpar2rrd/stor2rrd and Graphite/Grafana are running on different OS/Architectures ? RRD files created in Linux cannot be read with AIX and vice versa. Doesn't Graphite/Grafana have the same issue if its running on different architecture than where the RRD files were created ? Does anybody have…

Thanks for your answer. We found now our Problem. On the storage system monitoring has to be enabled for each host/WWPN and for some of them it was not. For the ones where it is enabled it works fine.

I changed the entry for PERL in etc/stor2rrd.cfg: # PERL=/usr/bin/perl PERL=/opt/freeware/bin/perl Now bin/perl_modules_check.pl doesn't show any error anymore. Maybe because of this: ls -la /usr/bin/perl lrwxrwxrwx 1 root system 29 Jan 10 08:42 /usr/bin/perl -> /usr/opt/perl5/bin/perl5.10.1 Should I run again the…

Should I first update lpar2rrd to 5.07 before I continue with stor2rrd ?

I do something similar but have the problem that the nmon data is only shown since the last LPM operation. Is this timestamp stored somewhere and is there a reason why nmon data from before the last LPM is not shown for the current LPAR ?

We have several managed systems, all managed by the same HMC. I'm not missing something under "Unmanaged". I only mentioned this because you did in your first answer.

I think I have everything since I started playing around with it. I mean for each LPAR under SERVER - <managed System> I have now all the tabs from HMC, OS Agent and nmon, I don't have an area unmanaged in the menu. How is this nightly job started or is there a log ? btw its a great tool :)

Hi Today I have all the graphics as expected, also for the managed Systems where I didn't create a link. So my problem is solved. Is there something running once per day or so that fixed it ?

The Server is 5.05 AIX Agent is lpar2rrd-agent-5.05-3 I noticed that when activating HMC access the structure of lpar2rrd/data is changed. Without HMC it looked like this: lrwxrwxrwx 1 lpar2rrd users 54 Nov 17 14:22 8286-42A*216194V -> /home/lpar2rrd/lpar2rrd/data/8286-42A*216194V--unknown drwxr-xr-x 3 lpar2rrd users 20…

I just saw now on the demo Webpage that the Buttons for Agent and nmon only appear for some Tabs but I only have only one tab: CPU Tabs for any other data are missing.
