Hi,
do you mean to get an alert when there is a HW issue on the storage?
Configure it here: http://demo.stor2rrd.com/?menu=f7b60b4&tab=3
It is based on change in healt status:
http://www.stor2rrd.com/healthstatus.htm?1.4.19
-
No, need from LPAR2RRD
-
oh, sorry.
No there is no HW alerting in lpar2rrd, just performace alerting you can set up.
-
Yes, need performance alerting
-
It is implemented only for IBM Power LPARs

If you need it for memory/paging/LAN/SAN then you have to deply the OS agent.
For CPU alerting is only is HMC connection enough.

Hi Pavel, please advice how to configure mail alert without SMTP serve?
-
Hi,
you must configure SMTP in the operating system.
-
how can i configure it?
-
Configure it as per you company's standards.
There is many ways how to do it, ask you colleagues ...
-
i am talking about configuration on lpar2rrd server not my mail server
-
LPAR2RRD server uses operating system settings, there is no special mail setup.
Set up mailing system on operating system level then it will work.
-
ok thanks
-
