NMON tabs not shown for some LPARs

I have a number of AIX LPARs, from which I transfer NMON data files to the LPAR2RRD server and import them using a local OS agent on the LPAR2RRD server. I have done this for years and it is working fine.

Now I am trying to do the same from a number of Linux (RHEL) LPARs. For the first two it worked fine - NMON tabs showed up on the LPAR pages.

But from the remaining it is not working. Looking at the agent log, I see no errors (see excerpt below) - but NMON tabs are not shown for these LPARS.

Does anyone have a hint?

    what is your lpar2rrd version Settings->About

    Send us one of that nmon files e.g. /nmon_import/b4chl22_<time>.nmon

    is not difference in partition name "Partition Name                              : b4chl22-ITR1_2"

    and NMON just sends

    AAA,host,b4chl22

    AAA,runname,b4chl22

    ?

    Yes, on the HMC our LPARs have a different/longer name than the actual hostname on the LPAR OS.

    But that is so for many of our AIX LPARs and has not been a problem before.

    I can see that the first 2 Linux LPARs from which I imported NMON data - and which is showing NMON tabs - actually has LPAR name = hostname.

    NMON also sends:

    BBBP,4643,/proc/device-tree/ibm,partition-name,"b4chl22-ITR1_2"

    BBBP,6725,lparstat -i,"Partition Name                              : b4chl22-ITR1_2"

    send us actual logs

    cd /home/lpar2rrd/lpar2rrd # or where is your LPAR2RRD working dir


    tar cvhf logs.tar logs tmp/*txt tmp/*pid


    gzip -9 logs.tar

    logs are ok,

    can you send one of nmon files, which has tabs e.g. b4tst03_2211xx-xxxx.nmon
