DSCLI issue connecting to ds8k

Hi all,
I installed dscli v7.7.21 on Virtual Appliance 2.6 and I created on the storage Ds8k the user lpar2rrd. 
The  connection test is ok
perl /home/stor2rrd/stor2rrd/bin/conntest.pl 192.168.1.100 1750
Connection to "192.168.1.100" on port "1750" is ok

But if I try connect to the storage I got this error:

[lpar2rrd@tix-stor2rrd-p1 ~]$ /opt/ibm/dscli/dscli  -hmc1 192.168.1.100 -user lpar2rrd  
CMUN00018E  Unable to connect to the management console server

Date/Time: June 5, 2020 8:30:36 PM CEST IBM DSCLI Version: 7.7.21.39 DS: -

I also configured the storage device on the browser interface and if I test the connection the error is:
Under user: lpar2rrd
DSCLI command failed: "/opt/ibm/dscli/dscli -hmc1 192.168.1.106 -user lpar2rrd whoami"

CMUN00018E whoami: : Unable to connect to the management console server

lpar2rrd user on all IBM DS8K must belong to "monitor" role at least

But the user lpar2rrd is correctly assigned to the role 'Monitor'. Infact I can login whith this user to the storage gui

Is the dscli supported in the virtual appliance?
Any suggestion?

    are you sure that DSCli version is compatible with the storage firmware?

    Hi Pavel, I think it is compatible, but tomorrow I check if there is a newer version of dscli

    Hi I have the same issue,

    noting that i installed DSCLI same version on windows server and its connecting normally to the storage. Any ideas?

    are you sure that you have enabled network connection from stor2rrd server to the DS8k? ports 1750, 1751

    according to the network team all ports are open. unless there is something to be done on DS8k or on Stor2rrd Virtual appliance?

    failed means that it hangs, got reset packet .... base on that is posible to find out what happened if firewall filters it, if nothing liste on thet port on the storage ...

    I just tried the telnet 1751 from the Windows Server where the DSCLI command is functional, the result is the same:

    C:\Windows\system32>telnet X.X.X.X 1751
    Connecting To X.X.X.X...Could not open connection to the host, on port 1751: Connect failed

    ok will open a case with IBM Storage support

    ok, then it has nothing with that port, go for IBM support ....
