lpar2rrd 7.00-2 unamanged lpars not shown in GUI

Hi,

I've upgraded my lpar2rrd installation from 5.07 to 6.20 and now to 7.00-2.

I query vCenters, one HMC and a couple of unmanaged LPARs. The vCenter and HMC datasources work fine, however the unmanaged lpars don't show up in the GUI. I see data coming in in the daemon.log and no error on the agent side but there are a lot of empty "data" directories in the www folder and also some duplicate folders with "--unknown" suffix, e.g.:

www/9119-<serial1>--unknown/data
www/9119-<serial1>/data
www/9119-<serial2>--unknown/data
www/9119-<serial2>/data
www/9119-<serial3>--unknown/data
www/9119-<serial3>/data

Any advise?

I now found this in error.log-daemon, maybe it helps:

RRDp::end can only be called after RRDp::start at /<lpar2rrd-path>/bin/lpar2rrd-daemon.pl line 6740.

can you try the latest code available here: https://www.lpar2rrd.com/download/lpar2rrd-7.05-7.tar

If that does not resolve it then send us logs

Note a short problem description in the text field of the upload form.

cd /home/lpar2rrd/lpar2rrd # or where is your LPAR2RRD working dir

tar cvhf logs.tar logs tmp/*txt tmp/*json

gzip -9 logs.tar
