Historical Data retention policy
Is there a way to limit how much historical data that is kept by stor2rrd or is that done automatically, as I recently ran out of space on my /home dir which was configured to 30GiB after 3 years of running, I have now increased the size but was looking to control the amount of data we keep so there is no need to keep adding capacity to the /home dir.
I am monitoring 2 3PAR SAN's

Hi,data retention: https://www.stor2rrd.com/data_retention.phpit can grow only if you have new volumes/lun.Newer version cleans out unused volumes/luns if they are not configured and touched for 3months+ to safe space.

Pavel, thanks again for your quick response and I had seen that link but didn't quite understand.
So to make sure I have this right, stor2rrd will keep data for active lun's for 3 years at a time using the scale on the link, but if a lun is removed the subsequent data for that lun will be removed after 3+ months, thanks -
yes, it will be removed and disappears from volume aggregated graphs only.
