error collecting data after hardware error
in SAN
we had 2 arrays get hardware errors. After which stor2rrd stopped collecting data.
error log 1 shows this:
/tmp/GgM1JkEI5e.xml:4: parser error : Input is not proper UTF-8, indicate encoding !
Bytes: 0x90 0xD7 0xC6 0x2F
hannel 0a SAS connector warning for SAS Connector 5: a cable has been removed.
^
Can't use string ("<?xml version='1.0' encoding='UT"...) as a HASH ref while "strict refs" in use at /home/stor2rrd/stor2rrd/bin/naperf.pl line 2026.
I deleted the data folder for both arrays to let it rediscover the 2 arrays but both still get same errors as before.
I don't really need the historic data but do need them to start collecting again.
how do I fix this?

btw the sas cable is find we had a bad connection that has since been fixed a week ago.
-
so the log entry causing the issue rolled off after 14 days and data collection has resumed
-
ok, thanks for letting us know, basically we could not do too much anyway as the storage provides corrupted xml file
