Manually Backfill Capacity Data
I have about 2 years of used/available capacity data for some of our Hitachi storage disk pools in a CSV. Is it possible to backfill that data into the pool capacity RRD files manually? I figured I would bring the data into Excel and use it to generate rrdtool commands. Any suggestions?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Hi,generally it is not possible to insert any old data into rrdtool file, it accepts only new data. Also export/import way with puting new data is not easy or feed it from csv.

I thought the "rrdupdate" command could take a timestamp value including older times when inputting historic data?
