Compress the lpar2rrd server directory

Hi,
is there a way to reduce the disk usage of the lpar2rrd client log data on the lpar2rrd Server, without losing any historical data?

I mean the
.../lpar2rrd/data

there is nothig to shring with usage of 1 minute data and given data retency and monitoring scope.

Nothing is doubled or usefull.
