Email 'printer'
Hi
I don't have an AS/400 background, so my knowledge is a bit sketchy I'm afraid (which is why I need help, of course).
Our system prints invoices, PO's etc direct to email - or has done for many years until a couple of weeks ago. No changes have been made to the system (I wouldn't dare, in case I couldn't fix it!).
The mechanism is that it generates PDFs via a program called Spool-a-matic. As far as I can see this is still working. The PDFs are then picked up by a mechanism I don't know, and emailed out. The writer for this 'printer' starts and then stops again within seconds.
I've found some log files & they suggest a problem with Java, as far as I can see - but I don't have a clue how to resolve it. Any help appreciated!
