Custom Group configuration problem with Linux
Hi,
when I try to create a Custom Group for some of our Linux Servers I got following error when I ran load.sh custom:
Thu Nov 30 12:40:30 2017: custom group: could not identify any lpar or pool for group: "KVM" /home/.../lpar2rrd/bin/custom.pl:685
date end all : Thu Nov 30 12:40:39 CET 2017
The Name of my Custom Group is KVM.
See in the attachment my custom group configuration.

Hi,
custom groups over "unmanaged" is not implemented.
I know that older GUI allows it but back-end does not have it implemented.
I think that GUI in 5.05 does not even allow creation of it.

Hi Pavel,
do you mean "unmanaged" = not with hmc managed and so only for AIX LPARs the Custom Groups are implemented?!?
thank you!
-
exactly.
"unmanaged" stuff going to be reduced when we implement KVM/XEN/... support. We are working on it.
