Hi Pavel, how lpar2rrd get the FS cache amount? Maybe we understand then better the values. thanks.
-
Hi Pavel, the point is, that the "used capacity" in the free command includes also the buffers and cached space used. Cached Memory is good so we can reduce disk I/O but that also means that if an application needs more memory it uses the amount of memory from the cache/bufferd capacity and/or from the free space. If the…

okay, I understand. thank you

Hi Pavel, do you mean "unmanaged" = not with hmc managed and so only for AIX LPARs the Custom Groups are implemented?!? thank you!
-
Hi pavel, i have uploaded the nmon data. kind regards, Andreas

Thank you Pavel. The link describes the solution for my problem.

Maybe it's all a problem because we use apache 2.2 # httpd2 -v Server version: Apache/2.2.12 (Linux/SUSE) Server built: Mar 8 2017 08:30:02
-
I didn't change the permissions of the directory. When I remove the ACL settings in the vhosts and etc then the website works fine
-
thanks Jirka. But now I got following error: [Wed Oct 11 10:19:47 2017] [error] [client 192.168.1.12] client denied by server configuration: /var/opt/stor2rrd/www/

thank you for an update ;-)

Hi, an update from the IBM support: the vlan adapters get there statistics from the real hardware adapter attached to them. that is so designed from ibm. Maybe there is another way for lpar2rrd with different commands to get the correct results? What do you think Pavel? Thanks!
-
yes, thank you
-
-
I'm sorry. I have not seen the SEA Tap in the LPAR2RRD GUI. forget it the data will be collected correct:
-
Hi pavel, okay, I will create a call and we will see what the ibm says. thanks anyway.
-
Hi Pavel, yes they have the same mac address and it looks like that this is the problem. Do you remember how to fix that behaviour in aix or maybe on lpar2rrd.
-
Hi Pavel, when i look at the current nmon network throughput, the entstat Bytes makes no sense to me. The most network traffic is definitely at en12.
