then what is the problem exactly when you see data in graphs?
-
https://stor2rrd.com/install.php#storages --> table --> HPE --> 3PAR "browse" rights is necessary
-
send us logs, refer to this thread Note a short problem description in the text field of the upload form. cd /home/stor2rrd/stor2rrd # or where is your STOR2RRD working dir tar cvhf logs.tar logs tmp/*txt gzip -9 logs.tar Send us logs.tar.gz via https://upload.stor2rrd.com
-
weird, looks like a bug in the HMC REST API, we were not aware of that
-
what do you mean by : removed "Descriptions on all Machines" what was the fix exactly?
-
are you at the latest lpar2rrd version? Actually 7.80-1, if not, uprade and let us know
-
it is hard to troubleshoot something when I cannot see any error or anything what is done and where it finished with what error ... as per a screenshot you sent (with single cmd) looks like there is no any free extents, so you did not extend volume group. I got no idea what did not work for you, where you finished,…

you are on newer appliance based on Rocky Linux, there is different path to the LV, does that help? /dev/rl/root # resize logical volume to fill all unused space lvresize -l +100%FREE /dev/centos/root # resize XFS filesystem on /dev/centos/root xfs_growfs /dev/centos/root --> use /dev/rl/root on new images based on Rocky…

if you pay for AIX support use AIX support, the easiest way for you I expect, they will explain you what needs to be done to have locat repository, they have to as they are paid for that
-
then create internal repo, I am not aware how to do it but there must be some way, check Internet, ask IBM support ... it is all about AIX and support tools, it has nothing with our product, got no idea how to help, Put into google: aix linux toolbox repository local then select 1st or 2nd or 3rd or 4th link, I believe all…
-
install this as per our docu, use yum or dnf , no issue for us yum install httpd rrdtool rrdtool-perl If that does not work then contact IBM AIX support, sorry, AIX is not our product, we are not able to support it
-
you do not need to have a repo server, only in case you have no access to the internet to get packages from ibm site
-
use dnf instead, install same packages
-
do you see graphs with data?
-
follow this, where is the problem? https://lpar2rrd.com/AIX-yum-install.php
-
typo, this one is correct: cd /home/stor2rrd/stor2rrd ./bin/config_check.sh HPE-3PAR-DC1
-
Hi, this output: cd /home/stor2rrd/stor2rrd ./bin.config_check.sh HPE-3PAR-DC1
-
but again, use rest api method if your 3par firmware is 3.3.1 MU5 and higher
-
yep
-
ok, so all disks are in normal status, we need some further debuging why status is detected as NOK, will send you some code next week
-
gunzip it, then you get the right size
-
ok, try this fix, most probbaly there is a problem with disk but the disk healt table is not printed. Place the patch there, wait about 15 minutes, then refresh the page with storage, do you see a table with disk healt status? https://www.stor2rrd.com/download-temp/hp3parperf_api.pl.gz -rwxrwxr-x 1 lpar2rrd lpar2rrd 193840…
-
use rather 3PAR CLI method or ideally REST API if you do not have some ancient firmware in place. Anyway, using ssh one. There is not properly exchanged ssh -key, that is your actual problem. You must be able to connect 3PAR machine without providing password like: ssh 3par_machine -l lpar2rrd
-
what is your stor2rrd version? I see many times status: FWDEAD - firmware is dead, it could be the reason, let us check the code, not sure how critical this status is
-
if you go to the storage in the menu --> health status Do you see there any problem?
-
