NPIV SAN Errors on VIOS

Hello

in your doc i saw that we can see FC errors only on physical adapters and:

"Note AIX NPIV FC adapters do not provide error statistics, therefore nothing is presented for them."

Is it the case also to VIOS ? There is fcstat for NPIV adapters and errors are provided.

we never seen any error on NPIV adapters.

can you show en example?

all error counters are always "-1" on NPIV FC adapters (client side)

ah, sorry my bad...it is not npiv..i misunderstood

but, we have some errors on fcs5 everyday:

LIP Count: 0

NOS Count: 0

Error Frames: 111

Dumped Frames: 0

Link Failure Count: 0

Loss of Sync Count: 1

Loss of Signal: 0

Primitive Seq Protocol Error Count: 0

Invalid Tx Word Count: 127

Invalid CRC Count: 111

and nothing is shown on SAN ERROR graph for VIOS.

we present it as FC errors/sec.

If there is 1 error per a minute then it is 1 / 60.

You can see in the graph 2 small peaks for fcs5 about 20:30 and 22:20
