Good morning, we also received the error from a Flash Copy not part of a Remote Copy.

For a workaround, I would be happy just turning off Flash Copy Notifications.

Hi,

uset this patch:

http://www.stor2rrd.com/download-static/Xorux_lib.pm.gz

Gunzip it and copy to /home/stor2rrd/stor2rrd/bin (755, stor2rrd owner)
-rwxrwxr-x 1 stor2rrd stor2rrd 17117 Nov 28 12:55 bin/Xorux_lib.pm

If your web browser gunzips it automatically then just rename it: mv Xorux_lib.pm.gz Xorux_lib.pm

Assure that file size is same as above listed one

then set this:

cd /home/stor2rrd/stor2rrd

echo "STOR2RRD_NO_ALERTING_MIRROR=1" >> etc/.magic

it is all, emails alerts from copy services will not be initiated

it does not matter, it should work for both, but better to place it on the top of 2.40-4

Updated to 2.40-4 and applied the hotfix to stop e-mail alerting on Flash Copy.  So far, so good.  Thank you, Zach.
