BNA configration

Dear stor2rrd users:
I am trying to configure BNA, but without success.

Version of stor2rrd: 2.10-01
BNA Server: 14.2
Configuration Method: http://www.stor2rrd.com/install.htm?1.2

# Brocade Network Advisor (BNA)
# <BNA IP or hostname>:<port>:BNA:<API user>:<encrypted password>:<backup BNA node IP or hostname>
# to encrypt password use: perl ./bin/spasswd.pl
# 192.168.1.1:443:BNA:stor2rrd:IT5gYGAK:192.168.1.2
w2k8-admstor:443:BNA:stor2rrd:JzwnKUk7NjVSODBgYAo=:

However I get the following results:

$ ../bin/config_check.sh
=========================
BNA: w2k8-admstor
=========================
Connection to "w2k8-admstor" on port "443" is ok
API connection:
   LOGIN: ok
   API request: ok
   LOGOUT: Okay
   Switches found: 0

   API connection OK

========
Summary:
========
...
...
BNA: w2k8-admstor ok

After the execution of the script load, I dont see results in the GUI browser.

Any comment is welcomed.
Thanks in advance.
Esteban.-

  • There is not visible any switch for user stor2rrd. As per docu "Define All fabrics access in Responsibility Area for user stor2rrd""
    Can you see switches when you log in to BNA consiole via stor2rrd user?
  • Great questions. The problem was the user's stor2rrd profile, same options were missing.
    You know that in the option: SAN SWITCH BNA | Zone Configuration
    the page is hung.
    Any ideas?

    Thank you very much,
    Regards.-
