Unable to generate the graphs in tool

edited October 11 in LPAR2RRD
Hi,

Today, i have updated the rrdtool-perl-1.3.8-10.e16.x86_64.rpm  and rhel patches and restarted the linux lpar , after that I am unable to generate the graphs in lpar2rrd tool. i have tried to load the script but getting below error.

[lpar2rrd@ ~]$ /usr/local/capinfo/lpar2rrd/lpar2rrd/load.sh
Set correct path to RRDp.pm Perl module in lpar2rrd.cfg
it does not exist here : /usr/local/capinfo/lpar2rrd/lpar2rrd/bin:/usr/local/capinfo/lpar2rrd/lpar2rrd/vmware-lib:/usr/lib64/perl5/vendor_perl/5.1.1:/opt/freeware/lib/perl/5.1.1:/usr/opt/perl5/lib/site_perl/5.1.1:/usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.1.1:/usr/lib64/perl5/vendor_perl/5.1.1:/opt/freeware/lib/perl/5.8.0:/opt/freeware/lib/perl/5.8.8:/usr/opt/perl5/lib/site_perl/5.8.2:/usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.5:/usr/lib64/perl5:/usr/opt/perl5/lib/site_perl/5.8.8/aix-thread-multi:/opt/freeware/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.8/ppc-thread-multi:/usr/local/capinfo/lpar2rrd/lpar2rrd/lib

1. Assure it is installed rrdtool-perl module
2. try to find it
   find /usr -name RRDp.pm
   find /opt -name RRDp.pm
3. place path (directory) to etc/lpar2rrd.cfg, parametr PERL5LIB
[lpar2rrd@ ~]$

----

[root@ ~]# find /usr -name RRDp.pm
/usr/lib64/perl5/vendor_perl/RRDp.pm
[root@ ~]# find /opt -name RRDp.pm
[root@ ~]#

---

path in configuration file:

# location of RRDp.pm (check if this file is in that directory)
# It might be also in RRDTOOL dir tree like here : /usr/local/rrdtool-1.2.15/lib/perl
# You can use more path separated by a colon for diferent necessary Perl modules
  PERL5LIB=/opt/freeware/lib/perl/5.8.0:/opt/freeware/lib/perl/5.8.8:/usr/opt/perl5/lib/site_perl/5.8.2:/usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.5:/usr/lib64/perl5

please help on it

Regards,
Srini

Comments

  • place /usr/lib64/perl5/vendor_perl at the end of PERL5LIB

    PERL5LIB=/opt/freeware/lib/perl/5.8.0:/opt/freeware/lib/perl/5.8.8:/usr/opt/perl5/lib/site_perl/5.8.2:/usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.5:/usr/lib64/perl5:/usr/lib64/perl5/vendor_perl
  • I have added the line  and load it , but same error
