Hello,

some months ago I made a fresh install of STOR2RRD on a new Linux machine after having used it for several years on AIX before.

Our 3PAR systems are monitored as expected but unfortunately I'm facing issues with pool/CPG/tier monitoring for our new Alletra MP storage systems. STOR2RRD shows 0 I/O for all pool, CPG & tier graphs though I'm absolutely sure there is some I/O ongoing.

Additionally there is some minor bug with host monitoring on those Alletras. The global monitoring is working fine but the items section for single hosts is not existing.

Hi,

We have had an issue recently that might be nice if stor2rrd had seen it.

Our san switches are in stor2rrd and we find the crc error graph very nice. But this is only 50% of the coverage since you also need to monitor crc errors on the other side of the san switch.

Out problem was that the crc errors were rising on the 3par side and we did not notice it until perfomance was impacted.

Hi Guys,

Having some trouble getting a Nimble CS3000 to add to stor2rrd. I have an identical model that added
with no issues but getting the following when trying to add this one.

Fri Jan 24 16:31:54 2020: od-san09 : load_host failed: ERROR: /usr/local/stor2rrd/data/od-san09/DRIVE/1.B.rrd: Function update_pdp_prep, case DST_GAUGE - Cannot convert '' to float at /usr/local/stor2rrd//bin/LoadDataModule.pm line 6005.
Use of uninitialized value $RRDp::error_mode in string eq at /usr/share/perl5/RRDp.pm line 168.

Have tried removing the od-san09 data directory and readding the SAN. I'm running stor2rrd version 2.61.
Comparing it to another SAN that added fine the od-san-09 directory is full of files named like od-san-09_nimbleperf_20200129_0430.out.tmp.
The other SAN data directory doesn't have this. Also the connection tests all pass with no errors.

Thanks for any assistance
