Try this cumulative patch since 2.40: Download link: http://download.stor2rrd.com/patch/stor2rrd-2.40-03.tar su - stor2rrd tar xvf stor2rrd-2.40-03.tar cd stor2rrd-2.40-03 ./install.sh cd /home/stor2rrd/stor2rrd ./load.sh refresh the GUI when it finishes (Ctrl-F5)

looks like some item name has unexpected character (*) Is there really exists this name: ENCAPSPOOL*
-
sorry, but I do not see big difference, -CSC suffix says me nothing :)This is not configurable, both names are hardcoded.
-
Hi, pls explain exactly. What would you expect there?
-
send us output of above script either via email or via https://upload.stor2rrd.com

Hi, Do you have somewhere installed A9000 XCLI package (/opt/ibm/XIVGUI/xcli) ? This would help us in this capoacity issue. We do not neeed it for monitoring but it might be installed somewhere by your A9000 admins. If so, then get below script, gunzip it and edit it.Modify there…

then install all dependecy packages via yum and perl-TimeDate from source package, this should work
-
get source package https://www.cpan.org/ and install it under new perl. Depends what do you want to use.1. if you want to use new perl for lpar2rrd then installing from source code is definitelly solutionrest of packages use only from ibm site

are global remote flashes still listed in tmp/snapshotting-status/<storage name>.txt ?
-
Hi, yep, we are aware of that, a lot of users using it, no one has ever wanted to exclude LAN traffic.I understand that lan/san are separated worlds. From implementation side it can be easilly excluded based on some settings.I have added to our todo, actually we are not able to look at that, I would say we could have time…
-
ignore that.have disappeared remote flashes from global copy pairs? It could take 10 - 20 minutes.
-
Try this fix for that.Solution is exclude flashes created by global mirroring. They do not have to be monitored. If anything is wrong with them then global mirror reports problem which we present. http://www.stor2rrd.com/download-static/svcconfig.pl.gz Gunzip it and copy to /home/stor2rrd/stor2rrd/bin (755, stor2rrd owner)…
-
sorry, no update yet.it sounds quite complex, we are waiting for an anwer of our expert.we will let you know during this week.
-
both times should be same, both are from HMC. Send a screenshot example.
-
Hi, yes it is compatible, just one thing needs to be done if you are at rrdtool 1.7under lpar2rrd account (replace $HOMELPAR by /home/lpar2rrd/lpar2rrd if you have it installed in this path) touch $HOMELPAR/lpar2rrd-cgi/mon.out chmod 777 $HOMELPAR/lpar2rrd-cgi/mon.out touch $HOMELPAR/bin/mon.out chmod 777…

Hi, check below lpar2rrd agent data file what is transfered and compare it to entstat data. tail -1 /var/tmp/lpar2rrd*txt Note there could be filetered 2 files, use the one without "ps"in its name. You will see if there are correctly transfered data counters like in nthis example:...…
-
I know :)This is not definitelly only upgrade which resets TZ, we seen it many times in the past already.
-
do you see all adapters here: 1. iostat -Dsal 5 1 | grep fcs 2. and here (note 2 files might pass that filtering, use the one without "ps" string inside) tail -1 /var/tmp/lpar2rrd*txt
-
Hi, yes , it is possible of course :) I will place it on our TODO list but do not expect anything soon, next year perhaps.
-
HMC upgrade resets timezone often.Note: changing TZ require HMC reboot!
-
wrong time on the HMC.Check last update time, it is quite different in both examples. su - lpar2rrdcd /home/lpar2rrd/lpar2rrd./bin/sample_rate.sh HMC time and lslprutil time must be more less same for that server.
-
thanks for posting solution.Looks like a problem was in VMware.
