looking into that but got a problem: For flash copy we have these statuses:* idle_or_copied … normal (green) * preparing … warning (orange) * prepared … warning (orange) * copying … normal (green) * stopped … error (red) * suspended … warning (orange) * stopping … warning (orange) just *stopped status is red.If we change…

Hi, I did not write next release on purpose :)it is going to be implemented, it actually has high priority for us.I could let you know as soon as we have ready if you want to test it.

Hi Dariusz, IBM DS8k, IBM XIV and HDS VSP-G health status implementation is planned for this year.Just EMC VMX will be then left. Problem is that VMAX does not provide its healt status through standard REST API (just even log is there, we present it since v2.30). Generaly we are not aware of any method how to get it from…

Hi, that happens on AIX often ... check Apache error_log (find /var -name error_log ) Basically you need to adopt settings in the docu for Apache 2.4: http://www.lpar2rrd.com/install.htm?4.1.0 --> Web Check if apache user (apache/httpd) has read rights for /home/lpar2rrd/lpar2rrd, /home/lpar2rrd, /home if so then check…

we got other user complaining same with : GM with Change Volume it is not about logs, it is about how to handle states (i.e. ok/warning/error) ok, we will not threat it as error in this situations.we make a fix during tomorrow and let you know.
-
is that related only to Global Mirror, right? Then stopped does nt meanerror status. That is clear. Metro mirror should not stop, right? What about flash copy generally? That is your case, righ? Shall we behave same? i.e. stopped == ok
-
Hi, do you say that stopped status is ok in this case?
-
Is that happen around 11/12th of Sep on all switches? Anything has been changed on stor2rrd side? send us logs for verification if there is any lack of system resource etc. Note a short problem description in the text field of the upload form. cd /home/stor2rrd/stor2rrd # or where is your STOR2RRD working…

what is difference between working and not working switches?FOS? other HW?I am afraid we cannot help you more, we have tried everything we know.Try Brocade support.
-
hi, yep we know about it already for some time. What you see is some storage HW limit == hard capacity (1.2PB).We are investigate it ... we will let you know.
-
do you have more switches? Are they working fine?
-
as per manual, do not you use snmp host access list?if so, is stor2rrd host allowed? http://www.stor2rrd.com/pics/storage/san-switch-cfg.jpg
-
Hi, ok, let us check if that is something already fixed. I think I have already seen it ... What is your: lpar2rrd server version?lpar2rrd agent version?
-
Hi, I suppose there is some very long port description, like 150 characters or so.we will have to cut such long descriptions.Check your port config and confirm that it is an issue.
-
it is a bug only in this capacity presentation. It presented correctly in storage --> pool --> capacity --> used we will send you a small fix next week.
-
is that generall issue for all switches?
-
Hi, do you see data in the GUI for them?
-
as per me it si working fine, do you see data in the GUI --> Unmanaged --> Solaris for that host? BTW we are finishing completly new Solaris implementation which follows up Solaris (Sparc/x86) virtualisation (LDOM/Global zone support etc). It is being already beta tested, release in Oct 2018.

Hi Mark, this is not general IBM i forum, it is dedicated to performance monitoring tool called lpar2rrd only.
-
Hello, I tried to find some performance counters in REST API, but have not find anything, I cannot exclude they exist ...Do you see any perf data in Isilon console for HDFS?Anyway I affraid that this is not our priority.
-
Hi, yes, you are not the first one complaining. However there is nothing to do from our side. There is no way to get all necessary data from Unity in one session, each command must have its own session. Sorry, no workaround or solution we have :(
-
Hi, unfortunatelly appeared that v5.4 is quite different and implementation effort would be very high.We have gave it up, it is not priority for us. Supported are 5.5+
-
Hi, if you navigate to the heatmap then each square has a title which appears after pointing the mouse there where is name of VMAX.This should easili identify what is what. Heatmap could be exported, it is not a big issue, however our priorities are different right now.
-
3) there is a csv export on capacity dashboard in the GUI. You can script wget to get URL which calls that CSV icon If you need more detailed or customized capacity or performance reports then we do custom reports for our customers.Examples: http://www.stor2rrd.com/reports-examples.htm
-
it is worth to try, increase it in crontab to 10 minutes
-
Hi, 1) not yet planned, but I think that will have to think it over :)2) it is already there for most of storages, for DS8K it comes with next version, where is it still missing? http://demo.stor2rrd.com/?menu=66d12b4&tab=5 3) use Reporter feature http://www.stor2rrd.com/reporter.htm?1.4.27
-
Looks like your switch has an issue with its resources (CPU/memory). I just guess, above message it returns to our SNMP queries time to time (therefore are there gaps). We have never seen such behaviour, even Google did not help. Check your switch is operating properly. What about the other switch? It does not have such…
