https://xormon.com/server/monitoring/IBM-Power-System/IBM-Power-monitoring-installation.php#CMC
-
CMC support is available in XorMon NG for a long time already
-
I do not see apache processes BTW if you starting with lpar2rrd, I would recommend rather modern lpar2rrd replacement XorMon Next Generation https://xormon.com/documentation-ng.php
-
is that upgrade or new installation? is apache running : ps -ef| egrep "apache|httpd"
-
sure, 2 different processes cannot listen on same port, it is against how things work in whatever operating system
-
whenever, read the link I sent above
-
yep, just there will be a conflict with the daemon (OS agent receiver), both tools use default port 8162, one of them must be started on different port if you want to keep both running. If you want to keep running just Xormon one then just stop lpar2rrd daemon More info: https://xormon.com/port_conflict.php

is that about EMC data domain storage? what do you mean by "is not functional"? Storage?
-
Hi, we will look at it, if that metric is provided by vCenter ( I suppose so) we will add it into next version v1.9.0 (may/june 2025) Thanks for the idea.
-
ok, it sounds good, we will do it in next 1.9.0 (May/June 2025)
-
like to implement Data/VM?
-
1.8.4 contains just some minor bug fixes like this one
-
no, this is not implemented. I do not see a point why to use standalone ESXi not being clustered. we will do it once we have time, actually it is not our priority, I just put it on our TODO list
-
what is your xormon NG version? what technology is that about? VMware? It works for us.
-
Sergio , contact us via support at xorux dot com, we would need some logs
-
thanks for the ideas! VM TOP: We will definitely implement something like that in the next release XorMon NG 1.9 (May/June 2025), we even let users select VMs (or use custom groups for VM selection for example) to make custom VM Tops heatmap: data usage throughput make no sense, how to select colors automatically? for…

make sure you use XorMon NG 1.8.0 (it was released recently) if, so, send us logs and some screenshot to document there is no OS agent graphs for some LPAR UI --> settings --> Logs --> support logs: follow the form Send us generated file via https://upload.xormon.com Note a reference pls.
-
ok, BTW there will be new version release just tomorrow v1.8.0 https://xormon.com/note180.php
-
"etc/GMT is a bit tricky, read for example this: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/7303580/understanding-the-etc-gmt-time-zone New coming version 1.8.0 of XorMon NG will not use "etc" based settings, it is confusing for users
