I suppose the other storage devices work, right? It looks like firmware issue, we have already seen that for older firmwares, upgrade or log a call with HPE ...

Hi, there is no read/write IO for volumes available for VPLEX, just total IOPS is availableStorage do not provide them, do not use it, response read/write time are fine, data throughput read/write is also fine
-
what storage type is it about?
-
no, not needed if there nothing listening on the storage

Hi, you should see each volume under each node, with all data, it is at leas how we see that. What is your lpar2rrd server and agent versions?

Hi, basically it is a bug in the HMC, ask IBM for a solution, idle cycles are higher than capped cycles, it should not be. BTW try to switch to HMC REST API access, it might work properly

Hi, definitelly no way for 40k volumes, it is imposible to monitor in the range we do (like each volume data/IOPS/latency) via DSCli in 5 minutes time range, it take 50 minute as you tested. No further suggestions, as IBM hows to cope with that ...Here you can see perf cmds we use for DSCli:…
-
ok, then 5mins is fine. healt status is not available through SMI-S APi we use.or at least it was not available in the time we developed it.

XIV is not able to get all necessary data in 5 minutes.Well, it was the issue in the past, perhaps newer models are capacble to do it especially if there is no thousads of volumes. You can try even 5 minutes, you will see ...
