I have tenable nesuss scan on infra and from xormon appliance I am getting info like

The remote web server is not enforcing HSTS, as defined by RFC 6797. HSTS is an optional response header that can be configured on the server to instruct the browser to only communicate via HTTPS. The lack of HSTS allows downgrade attacks, SSL-stripping man-in-the-middle attacks, and weakens cookie-hijacking protections.

Does anybody was able to fix this?

xormon-7.90: zoom on graph doesn't work

zoom doesn't works on all graphs in xormon. For lpar2rrd or stor2rrd.

Tried in MS Edge Version 126.0.2592.87 (Official build) (64-bit), Firefox 128.0 (64-bit)

Nothing in the logs for Xormon -Web UI

But it works correctly directly in UI of lpar2rrd or stor2rrd

Xormon not accepting external signed certificate

Hi,

I am currently using the latest version on Xormon 7.81-1 successfully and I am now trying to configure it to use an externally signed certificate. I have followed the install instructions "Optional: using external signed certificate" but it is not working. I have configured the files xormon.p12 and application.properties in /opt/xorux/xormon/config. The application starts but it is not using the external signed certificate but the original self-signed certificate.

I have looked at the log /home/xormon/xormon-data/logs/xormon.log and it makes no attempt to use the config I have set. Excerpt of log as follows:

Any help would be much appreciated.

For information xormon is running on SLES 15 SP5 and the xormon process is started using systemd service per the instructions.

error when trying to load some graphic on LPAR2RRD

hello,

we recently install LPAR2RRD, after one day we still have a message when we try to get graphic from LPAR2RRD menu (for example CPU on one power system).

on the file vi /var/tmp/lpar2rrd-realt-error.log we saw this message every time we try to get graphic:

detail-graph-cgi.pl: can't open /home/lpar2rrd/lpar2rrd/tmp/servers_conf.storable: No such file or directory at /home/lpar2rrd/lpar2rrd/bin/detail-graph-cgi.pl line 832.

could not integrate with Ldap

I am trying to configure ldap for xorux version 7.80-1-g32b125d.

after finishing the configuration and test the ldap , I have the following error:

Connecting to host: /10.155.77.20:3268

org.springframework.ldap.InvalidSearchFilterException: invalid attribute description; nested exception is javax.naming.directory.InvalidSearchFilterException: invalid attribute description; remaining name '/'

LDAP setup test result: FAIL

the configuration like below:

Storwize CAPACITY/Pool: broken graph for first pool

Capacity graph are not availble for the first POOL (or the pool with the ID=0) whan accessing it through XORMON while they are available directly on STOR2RRD.

The error displayed insted of the graph is:

"Could not find CAPACITY-POOL ID for v5k01-by119:CAPACITY-POOL:SDD-Pool0 in neither in etc/alias.cfg /home/stor2rrd/stor2rrd/bin/detail-graph-cgi.pl:3694"

(v5k01-by119 is the storage name, SDD-Pool0 is the pool name.)

Hitachi VSP-G 'Health status' menu is missing from XORMON

'Health status' menu is missing from XORMON but is present in backend STOR2RRD for several Hitachi VSP-G (350/400/600).

Though "Storage -- Totals -- Health status" table in XORMON successfully shows all of them.

Could you please help to fix it?

I can't configure LDAP. After entering the data, I click the "Test configuration and obtain group" button, enter the credentials of a user with AD rights and a window with certificates appears. I select them to add, but the window does not disappear. A pop-up message appears "Certificate store successfully".

I've tried several settings, but I can't connect xormon to my AD, here's the error I get:

LDAP setup test result: FAIL
User could not be authenticated to directory service. Please verify entered user credentials and username format so it corresponds to User Filter Attribute.

In the User Filter Attribute field, I've tried sAMAccountName and userPrincipalName, but the result is always the same.

Can you help me?

How to update the html of Xormon like stor2rrd or lpar2rrd?

Today I added some lan switch with UI Group Name(like A).
And then modify the UI Group Name to B.
After run ./load.sh & ./load.sh html, the page of stor2rrd had renewed with UI Group Name B. But the page of Xormon have both Group name A and B.
How can rebuild them like stor2rrd with ./load.sh html?
