        <description><![CDATA[I have tried to install the net-snmp-perl in Azure VM(CentOS 8) by following the stor2rrd LAN installation steps.<br />While installing,<br /><br /><div><div>[root@DEV ~]# yum install net-snmp-perl</div><div>Last metadata expiration check: 0:49:44 ago on Tue 03 Mar 2020 11:28:31 AM UTC.</div><div>No match for argument: net-snmp-perl</div><div>Error: Unable to find a match</div></div><div><br />Facing the above error. I have successfully implemented this for SAN port but the alias.cfg file does not give any reference for how to implement this for LAN switches. I have tried a few iterations such as:<br />PORT:N5K-SWITCH1:Ethernet1-25:hostname.net0<br /><br />but I cannot get it to recognize LAN switch aliases and the cfg file states this is for SAN ports<br /><br />Please can you advise on the correct procedure.]]>

In my case I have same device name in primary and secondary site, have different IP address and domain. <div><br /></div><div>Example :- switch01.dc1.local (192.168.1.1) &amp; switch01.dc2.local (192.168.2.1) <br /><br />Even after creating the host file entry with fqdn, after adding both switch, first one get overwrite by second.<br /><br />if there are any solution to this ??</div>]]>
