Datacore SSY10 PSP17 and Stor2rrd 7.80

Hi there,

is anybody using Stor2rrd 7.80 with newest Datacore Version SSY10 PSP17? It uses REST 2.06.

Hi,

We lost almost all collection of value for Datacore since the last update !

No pool was detected anymore and so no statistic about the pools ( for example )

Hello,

I just installed stor2rrd to monitor our DataCore storage.
Out of the box we got several errors and no capacity data.

I found that the problem was '@' in volume names which is unfortunately part of all Snapshot names in DataCore.

I fixed it by adding the following line in storage.pl:

$itemm =~ s/\@/XatX/g;

Datacore reporting bad values on graphs

We have hooked into 3 datacore arrays.

STOR2RRD is showing latencies of over 1000ms, sometimes peaks of 1200ms. on the "volume response time" charts.

All 3 arrays have all-flash disk and have tested ultra-low latency using performance testing tools (sub 1ms sustained)

The vCenter graphs we pull show latency around 1-3ms sustained throughout the day which does not match the

STOR2RRD graphs.

We have additionally submitted performance reports to Datacore for analysis and we have all come to the joint

conclusion that STOR2RRD is just reporting/graphing incorrectly.

Please advise on how we can help STOR2RRD correct this.

Datacore REST API 2.0

Hello,

With SANsymphony 10.0 PSP9 Datacore released a new REST API Version 2.0. It seems STOR2RRD doesn´t support this version because "load.sh" terminates with errors. Is this only a problem in our setup or is this a general problem?
